Your wedding story
My role as a celebrant is to get to know you, to hear about your life together, and craft a creative and inspiring way to share your story with those you love. Together we will create a ceremony that truly reflects who you are as individuals and as a couple. Remember the beauty of an independent celebrant-led ceremony is that you can include whatever elements you like. Be adventurous and creative – I will offer advice to help you shape it, but the more ideas that come from you the better! Everything can be tailored to you, from your arrival to your exit, from the music to the vows, from the readings to the exchange of rings.
WHAT’S INVOLVED?
First of all, I will meet you both to get to know you as a couple, find out about your story so far, and outline your ceremony. From there I will write a draft script for the ceremony, and then we’ll meet again to agree the final details and make any changes you would like to the ceremony script. As we get closer to the big day, if you wish to we can have a practice run-through of the ceremony, and then all that is left is the day itself! Everything will be ready and prepared, so you can relax and enjoy the beautiful ceremony that you have created.
Exclusively yours
On the day, I won’t have any other bookings to run off to so will be exclusively yours! I will be at your venue for 3-4 hours, and can assist with equipment sound check, help greet your guests, and be on hand to reassure family and friends who have roles to play. I will then of course conduct the ceremony, and after the event I will provide you with a keepsake copy of your wedding script.
